  • The Downtown Development District fully complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, executive orders, and regulations in all programs and activities. The Hammond Downtown Development District operates without regard to race, color, national origin, income, gender, age, and disability. 

    Any person who believes him/herself or any specific class of persons, to be subjected to discrimination prohibited by Title VI may by him/herself or by representative file a written complaint with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LADOTD’s Title VI Program Manager may be reached via phone at 225 379-1382. A complaint must be filed no later than 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination.

  • The Downtown Development District meetings are conducted in accessible locations and materials can be provided in accessible formats and in languages other than English. Social Media Terms of Use

The City-Parish operates a number of social media accounts across a variety of social media networks. These accounts may be managed by individual departments, programs or as part of a joint effort between multiple departments. By posting content or interacting with the City-Parish and/or any of its agencies, programs or initiatives through any official City-Parish social media accounts, you agree to follow and abide by the following terms of use.

  • The DDD welcomes participation but reserves the right to moderate comments in accordance with its policies. All social media comments, messages and all other posts exchanged with the agency or its affiliated departments are considered to be public record.

  • The DDD expects conversations to follow the rules of polite discourse and asks that visitors to the agency social media pages treat each other, as well as agency employees, with respect. 

    Comments may be monitored and may be subject to removal without notice based on, but not limited to, the following actions by users: comments containing profanity and vulgar, or abusive language; sexually harassing content; obscene content; threats of physical or bodily harm; discriminatory language on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, age, marital status, or religion; and content of a commercial nature or that may infringe copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights. Comments straying from the designated topic may also be removed.

  • All postings by visitors and advertisements that may appear on the site are not controlled by the DDD and do not reflect any agency endorsement or opinion(s).

    The DDD may retain records of any postings by visitors to its social media pages.

  • Visitors should have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality with respect to any content they post to any DDD social media site, and neither the DDD nor its departments are responsible for maintaining any such privacy or confidentiality.
